Canoeing

Every year I take several trips.  Typically, some of these are wilderness trip in Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada.  Also, I occasionally go for a river run; usually a day trip.  My favorite Rivers are the Guadalupe, Devil's, and Llano in Texas and the St. Croix, Namekagon, and Brule in Wisconsin.

Camping

I camp as often as feasable.  I enjoy a wide range of camping experiences from weekend car-camping to weeklong canoe-camping in wilderness areas.  Some of my favorite locales are Quetico Provincial Park, South Llano River State Park, Big Bend National Park, and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

Running

I have run regularly for exercise and recreation since the fall of 1978.  My best times are not very good, but I am getting slower!
