Can you remember these awesome creatures?
I remember hunting them down and chasing them, in the attempts to catch them. They could be elusive little creatures and, boy, were they fast. But they are now very scarce. I have not seen one since I was a girl. I am still fascinated by them. I become a little nostalgic when I think about them. They take me back to a simpler, more care free time in my life. How awesome it would be to be able to see, touch, and hold one again. It may never happen, but I can always remember the days. Here are a few web sites I found with information and pictures.
